For three (3) days, FRES Foundation in celebrating World Book Day, collaborated with the Micheal Kayode Ojo brand (MKO) to give the message of Books and its importance in Education to the Pupils of eleven (11) schools in the Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State.We were warmly received by all School heads and the Pupils.Our visit involved giving out Notebooks, Facemasks and other writing materials to in-need and deserving pupils.The highpoint of our every visit was the interaction with the pupils on “The Role and Importance of Books in Education”The message to the Pupils was clear and well received;“Books are treasures”.“On each page of a notebook, you can write out your destiny”You have been given Treasures today, please keep writing and carving out your destiny.We began a campaign to the pupil for a battle against Ignorance.Ignorance is that fight you must fight everyday and education gives you the field to fight.To fight Ignorance everyday with the weapons of Books and Pen.To reach for and attain knowledge as our Victory.Give this message to every child you find each day.We are on a Journey to transforming Education.Everyone can be a part of it.Be a light!
