The Micheal Kayode Ojo (MKO) team in collaboration with Fundamental Right to Education Support Foundation(FRESF) visited the Okogbado community in the Ojo area of Lagos state to access the education need of the community.
This is video is an overview from our visit.
A boat is required in the community to enable the easy movement of teachers and pupils to the 6 schools that have been rendered inactive and shut as a result of lack of an effective transport system.
This lack, has crippled the education activities in that community, affecting the over 12 communities there.
Our estimated budget for the “School Boat” Project is #1.7m and we want it delivered by September, which is the start of a new session, so the schools can reopen (get the teachers back to their duty post and the pupils back to learning.)
Is this possible?
Yes!
Do we have a job to do?
Yes!
But we can’t do this alone!
We need everyone of you to join us on this and make an impact for these communities and shape the future of that “one” child.
